Helen Dodsworth Illustration
Thackray Medical Museum Leeds: I was commissioned to illustrate their 'Feel Good Friends' characters, based on different medical professions, for their new children's play area called Sparks! I developed the character designs with the museum staff team and they were named by a local nursery group.
The museum's new soft play area is based on a trip through the digestive system. I designed the face for the doorway and illustrated a food bolus (piece of chewed food) on it's journey through the digestive system.

Comic Zine of the B Monster Movie film 'Creature from the Haunted Sea: I made this quick concertina zine as part of a comic making workshop I ran.
Portland Basin Museum and the Art Council England: Tameside council was awarded some money to make some children's activity packs to be handed out free at food banks, or available to buy for £1 at the musuem, whilst covid restrictions meant all musuem activities had to be cancelled. I designed the templates for each activity, and the Make, Do and Play logo.

Wild in Art: The Big Hoot Birmingham. I was chosen to design and paint a large owl sculpture as part of an arts trail around Birmingham. My design was inspired by the fact the postage stamp was created in Birmingham, and the stamps all feature images connected to the city.
